Exhibition at Outside the Box Cafe
Having just exhibited a series of works created using a camera phone, I thought it would good to feature a photo walk that was also captured and recorded using a camera phone.
Back in October we got to visit a place we’d been meaning to go for over three years! I didn’t really know what to expect as we entered Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Obviously, I expected to encounter sculpture, but that’s like going outdoors and saying “today we’re expecting to experience weather”. On reflection, I would say…
Space – Much bigger than expected
Location – More stunning than I expected
Sculpture – More diverse than I expected
Parking – (£8 for the day) More expensive than I expected
Entry fee – (free) less than I expected
Coffee & cake – Everything I had hoped for!
What I wasn’t expecting, was to spend a whole day exploring the place and still feel like I needed more time! We had such a great time at YSP, it’s made it onto my top 5 must places to visit in Yorkshire and it will certainly take some beating!
