Earlier this month I shared a photo in my post for International Women's Day . For the March Photo Book of the Month, I thought I'd continue in the same vein with Annie Leibovitz and Susan Sontag's book 'Women'. As a student at art college I read many of Susan Sontag's essays and closely observed the works of Annie Leibovitz. This book was one of the first photography books I ever bought. It is an eclectic collection of women portraits taken by Leibovitz. From hollywood actresses to diner waitresses, it displays a diverse range of characters, photographic styles and techniques. It's a great photo book for anyone seeking inspiration for their own portraiture work.
