A crisp morning by the river in late January results in one of the best mornings for spotting and identifying five individual otters all heading up stream towards Ilkley.
The first being three otters, either three young or two young and a mother? (the latter previously reported from several accounts) then, about 15 metres upstream a single adult swimming against the current, followed by another adult sighting 20 metres downstream rooting around in a sunken tree. The other footage is from the previous morning, watching an adult fish, interestingly swimming and fishing upstream for a good 20 minutes.
