In 2018, a turbulent Winter rolled into a turbulent Spring and Summer. Between the erratic water levels of the river Wharfe and a busy A65, two Swans manage to hatch just two of their clutch. As they moved onto the Wharfe two Signets evaporated to just one. This was my attempt to document the precariousness of one of our most revered water birds.
