Bangor Part III: There & Back
Bangor Part I & II shared some of the marvelous experiences we had visiting our good friends in Bangor, County Down. I often find however, my memory of any visit is actually additionally affected by the journey to and from the location visited.
Maybe it's the way our (or just my!) brain processes memories but whenever I reflect on a trip or a visit somewhere, those memories always seem to be inextricably connected with reminiscences of the journey there and back too.

Photo Book of the Month: Hidden
On last night's BBC Look North, I watched a report that stated there were over 15,000 young carers in Yorkshire, contributing to a total figure of 166,000 young carers in England. The report featured an interview with The Children's Society where the organisation expressed concern that this figure might just be the "tip of the iceberg". With many young people falling under the radar their's a genuine concern that many young carers remain "hidden". Read more
